Cynthia “Cindy” Kotecki is the heart and lens behind Natalia Mae Photography—a vibrant boutique photography studio in Portage, Michigan, serving the greater Southwest Michigan region and beyond. Founded in 2009, Cindy has built a reputation for portraiture that celebrates individuality and confidence. 

With roots in pageantry and portrait work, Cindy specializes in capturing bold, stylized images—ranging from high-school seniors and families to athletes, pageant contestants and creative personal brands. Her work has earned multiple awards in the pageant industry and has been featured in international magazine publications. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Midwest Business Exchange, attesting to her professionalism and community engagement. 

Ben Kotecki joins Cindy as co-owner of Natalia Mae Photography. Together they create a dynamic studio environment that blends Cindy’s artistic vision with Ben’s operational and client-experience strengths. Their combined leadership ensures that each portrait session is grounded in both creative excellence and seamless service.

At Natalia Mae Photography, Cindy believes in more than simply taking pictures—she aims to craft images that reflect each client’s personality, milestone and story. Whether it’s a senior’s dream shoot, a family gathering, a pageant portfolio, an athlete’s banner, or a custom wall art piece, their studio offers tailored experiences, thoughtful styling, and polished results.
